Born in Sydney, Linton Meagher completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Fine Arts at the University of Sydney, as well as studying art at the Julian Ashton Art School. Having begun his career as a painter, his practice evolved to making semi-sculptural works using resin and perspex, before returning to painting and using resin and perspex.
He is currently represented by Maunsell Wickes Gallery in Sydney, having previously shown with The Cat Street Gallery in Hong Kong and COMODAA Gallery in London. His work has been exhibited in Sculpture by the Sea and at the Singapore and Hong Kong Art Fairs.
His works are found in numerous private and corporate collections, including St Vincent’s Public Hospital and Blackmores in Sydney.
